March lambs!! :D

We have had an exciting month, to date we've had 6 sets of twins! 5 Finn sheep lambs and 1 set of Icelandic -Finn cross. We're planning on keeping a few more ewe lambs this year to increase our flock. It's been a great season with only 4 more sheep to deliver. Nutrition & selenium has made a big difference with our lambs this year, they have been so robust and healthy! :)
We have 4 ram lambs currently available for sale.

Fern delivered our first set of twins on 3-5. Frodo and Freesia, ewe and ram!

Delilah the Angora goat ready for shearing

She is happier tied to a tree than stuck in a stand!

Beautiful locks!

What she thinks of that. :P Hoping she'll deliver twins for us in a few weeks!

Fiona gave us two huge ram lambs!

Little boy blue, come blow your horn!

Shearing Carmen, my young Icelandic ewe from last season, looks like she is probably pregnant with a single.

Out stuffed animal ram, Figwit. He is such a gentle giant!

Figwit hangs around for scratches from anyone who will give them!

Another set of twins! Frigga gave us twin girls this year! Fleur and Freida.

Spring isn't complete without an Easter lamb butchering... :-O One of last years rams these boys are butchering for a widow at church.

Favorite Easter tradition for my boys...the sweet little lamb cake...

butchered! :-O But it's all in good fun, when it comes to actually butchering any animals on the farm tears are generally shed.

Felecia's twins! Little white ewe and black ram with a "lightning butt"
Fritzgerald and Francoise.

Anukkah our first Icelandic to deliver Finn- Icelandic cross lambs! Two big Ewes, Dahlia and Dulcinea. She had a little trouble with a stuck lamb and a small birth canal. My shepherd son on the right helped with his smaller hand to get the legs straightened out and ready for delivery. A great experience for him!

We've been so blessed! Life and birth is such a wonderful experience for our family and we are so happy to share such precious experiences and little lambs!

On top of all these beautiful births, our oldest daughter got engaged this month to a wonderful young man and we are sooo excited to expand our human family too. ;-) :D
